In 2011, Anna Fiorentini founded the Fiorentini Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising funds for children who are eager to participate in the performing arts but who are in need of financial assistance. The Fiorentini Foundation provides bursaries and scholarships to students that attend the Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School. This establishment provides students with bursaries and scholarships so that children from all backgrounds are given the opportunity to learn invaluable skills that are special and distinct to the performing arts.
Not only are these children able to extend their knowledge of and build strengths in genres like acting, singing and dancing, but the foundation also gives the students the chance to increase skills that will help them grow and develop in their everyday lives. Through the donations and funds raised through the Fiorentini Foundation, students enrolled in the school are able to reach their full potential by increasing their overall confidence and improving social interaction with their peers as well as adults. They are also able to develop critical communication skills that will benefit them in all aspects of life, all while working in a safe, friendly, and fun environment.
To continue providing affordable performing arts education for local families, the Fiorentini Foundation relies on donations and fundraising events as well as small financial grants. If you would like to support our organisation and make a donation to help us at the Fiorentini Foundation continue our affordable performing arts.
The charity’s objectives are restricted to the following:
(a) The advancement of education particularly in the field of performing arts and other cultural activities for the benefit of disadvantaged 7-18 year olds regardless of race, class, gender, physical or learning disability or religious belief; (b) to provide information and advisory services through liason with educational and community groups to increase interest and understanding of the arts and creative processes; and (c) to provide opportunities for young people to play an active and positive role as members of the local community via the performing arts, for example providing entertainment for hospitals and elderly people’s homes etc while at the same time providing performing arts opportunities.
