HFX Sponsors the Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School

We are delighted to announce that the Fiorentini Foundation has partnered with HFX, who is now a Platinum Corporate Sponsor of the Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School’s Variety Showcase which will take place at the Hackney Empire on Saturday, 15 September 2018. HFX provides flexible working solutions for workforces, with specialized time and attendance systems, as well as top quality access control.

The Variety Showcase attracts over 1,200 people, and all profits go to the Fiorentini Foundation. It is a fantastic opportunity for young people to showcase their talents whilst gaining confidence and having fun.

Anna Fiorentini, founder and head of the Theatre & Film School explained; “Our focus is on building children’s confidence whilst developing their skills in the creative arts. We recently have received funding from the Big Lottery to extend this mission into schools with our anti-bullying programme.”

Nick Whiteley (CEO, HFX), commented “HFX are excited to be sponsoring this year’s event.  We share the values and professionalism exhibited by the school and its mission to bring out the best in every child using arts as a creative and expressive vehicle to develop students self-confidence.”

Big Lottery Fund Supporting Anti-Bullying Campaign

The Fiorentini Foundation, working along side the Anna Fiorentini School will be delivering Anti-Bullying workshops in Schools across London thanks to a grant of £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund and National Lottery.

This programme will help to reach some of the Capital’s most vulnerable children who are suffering low confidence and self-esteem due to bullying. Free Performing Arts workshops, held in Schools and Communities will give young people the opportunity to explore their feelings, fears and anxieties and tackling the issue of bullying head-on, leaving the young people with a sense of pride, confidence and a celebration of their own identity.

If your School/ Community is interested in receiving a free workshop, please contact to book in a place. We predict that interest in this will be high, so would encourage you to get in touch asap to avoid disappointment.

Climb every mountain: Ed climbs Kilimanjaro

Ed Muburo, supporter of the Fiorentini Foundation, is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro 10th – 20th July 2014.

Ed ran the London Marathon for the Foundation in 2009 and 2011 and raised over £4000 each year.

This year the money raised from his Kilimanjaro climb will go the Fiorentini Foundation. Without the wonderful dedication of supporters like Ed, we would not be able to offer scholarships to the young people most in need. He truly is our hero!

Any donation no matter how small would be gratefully received.
You can donate online via Ed’s BT Donate page.
Alternatively you can donate via Paypal or send a cheque made payable to The Fiorentini Foundation and send to the Fiorentini Foundation, 52 Upper Street, N1 0QH
